Every day we make a promise that sounds like this, "It's a new day at McLeod and I'm going to fill it with learning, kindness and caring." This is the focus at our school.
Our school is located in Vanderhoof, B.C., the geographical centre of British Columbia. We are home to 270 students in Kindergarten to grade 6. We are a dual track school offering education in English and French.
We are a Community of Learners and we are very proud of our school especially our:
• Learning together including buddy classes, learning support, co- teaching and staff collaboration focused on student success and flexible learning spaces (Connection Centre and TLC) • Response to Intervention in literacy and numeracy to support struggling learners. • Full school activities including Carnaval, Pink Shirt Day march, Christmas concert and school wide Social Responsibility • Fine arts program • PAC Farm to School Salad Bar lunch
